1.Is Botox safe?
Yes. Botox (botulinum toxin type A) has been FDA-approved for cosmetic use since 2002 and has one of the longest safety records of any cosmetic treatment. When administered by a qualified medical provider like a Board-Certified NP, serious complications are extremely rare.
2.How long does Botox last?
Most patients enjoy results for 3–4 months. Patients who maintain regular treatments often find results last longer over time as the muscles that cause wrinkles weaken with repeated treatment.
3.What's the difference between Botox and Dysport?
Both are neuromodulators that relax facial muscles to reduce wrinkles. Dysport may spread slightly more (useful for larger areas) and some patients feel it takes effect a day or two faster. Laura will recommend the right one based on your anatomy and goals.
4.What is Xeomin and how is it different?
Xeomin is a 'naked' neuromodulator — it contains no accessory proteins. This is beneficial for patients who have developed resistance to Botox over time. It's priced at $11/unit at Majestic.
5.How much does Botox cost?
At Majestic Aesthetics & Wellness, Botox is priced at $12/unit. Most areas require 10–25 units. A full forehead treatment typically costs $180–$360. Laura will give you an honest unit estimate before any treatment begins.
6.How long does filler last?
Hyaluronic acid fillers (Juvederm, Restylane) last 9–18 months depending on placement and product. Denser fillers in the cheeks tend to last longer. Sculptra, which stimulates collagen, can last 2+ years.
7.Will I look frozen after Botox?
Not at Majestic. Laura's technique prioritizes natural movement — results should be undetectable. She doses conservatively and offers a two-week follow-up to adjust if needed.
8.What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a fractional radiofrequency microneedling device that delivers RF energy deep into the dermis and subdermal tissue. It remodels collagen and tightens skin from the inside out. It's considered the gold standard for non-surgical skin tightening.
9.How long is Morpheus8 recovery?
Most patients experience 2–4 days of redness, mild swelling, and small pinpoint marks. Mineral makeup is typically fine by day 2–3. Full results develop over 3–6 months as new collagen forms.
10.What is BHRT and is it safe?
Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) uses hormones molecularly identical to those your body produces. Treatment begins with comprehensive bloodwork. When properly monitored, BHRT has a well-established safety profile. Laura reviews labs regularly and adjusts dosing as needed.
11.Does laser hair removal hurt?
Most patients describe it as a rubber band snap or mild heat. Sensation varies by area — the bikini line and underarms are more sensitive than legs or arms. Laura uses cooling protocols to minimize discomfort.
12.What is IV therapy and does it actually work?
IV therapy delivers fluids and nutrients directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system for 100% bioavailability. It's genuinely effective for dehydration recovery, immune support, energy replenishment, and migraine relief. It's not a cure-all, but for the right conditions, results are measurable.
13.What is the O-Shot?
The O-Shot uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your own blood, injected into specific vaginal areas to improve sexual function, arousal, and urinary incontinence. A topical numbing cream is applied first. Most patients report improvement over 3–4 weeks as the PRP stimulates tissue regeneration.
14.Do you accept insurance?
Aesthetic treatments are elective and not covered by insurance. Some wellness services (hormone therapy, ketamine therapy) may have partial coverage depending on your plan — Majestic can provide documentation to support your claim. All pricing is transparent and provided upfront.
